Below are all terms and articles needed to safely and legally transferr ownership from us to you. by signing below you agree to all the facts and remedy's set forth. No other terms are agreed to or accepted unless otherwise in writing and agreed to with signatures by both parties. The below described puppy /dog is being transfered to ___________________________________________________ for the purpose of being a wonderful life companion. Should any change in new owner circumstance shange and they can no longer keep said dog/puppy they must contact me Candi Fortney so I may either purchase puppy/dog back at half the purchase price, or assist in finding the pet a new home. _________INITIAL Breed__________________________________________________________________ Registration Number if applicable______________________________Registry______________ Sex___________Color/marking___________________________________DOB ____ Sire: _______________________________________________________________________ Dam: _______________________________________________________________________ All puppies will be sold with the following guarantee: First, you are receiving a puppy that has been examined by a Licensed Veterinarian and certified healthy at the time of sale. All vaccines will be current in accordance with puppy’s age at the time of sale. Vaccines that may be included are Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Hepatitis, Adenovirus, Rabies and Bordetella. The puppy will be current on heartworm preventative starting between 8-10 weeks of age. Flea prevention product Advantage may be applied as necessary every 30 days beginning at 6-8 weeks of age. The puppies will all be dewormed as a precaution every 2 weeks until leaving my home beginning at 8-10 weeks of age. All adults are fully vaccinated. All puppies are warranted against genetic defects for 1 year from date of purchase. In the event your puppy has a congenital defect not detectable at the time of sale, it will be subject to full/partial refund based on your Veterinarian’s documentation of the defect and probable outcome for said puppy. While we are striving to produce the healthiest most active dogs possible. We ask you to understand that even with our best intentions, mother nature sometimes sends things down the track that are unforeseeable. We treat people as we would want to be treated. Understand that if your puppy suffers, we suffer as well. The one year warranty is specifically for these occasional instances when something does not show up immediately, but can cause either significant pain or disability, so that the dog will not lead a normal life. For instance, Severe Hip Dysplasia, Heart Defects (life threatening). We fully back up our puppies and want them to be in the best homes possible. We are here to support you as the owner throughout their life span. When purchasing this pup, you the new owner agree to take said pup to a veterinarian of your choice within 3 business days of purchase. Should your veterinarian pronounce the puppy not suitable for sale, you must call me immediately (within 24 hours) and arrange to return the puppy for a full refund, or choice of another puppy in comparable price and age; this is the seller’s choice. If there are no puppies available, refund is the only option. If you do not return the puppy; no refund will be given. Should your puppy develop a serious defect, contact us within 3 days of this discovery made by your vet. Upon proper documentation (report by vet describing defect and expected outcome…etc.) we will then do one of the following: Refund all of the purchase price of puppy (imminent death or severely restricted quality of life thus shortening the expected life span) Partial refund (defect not so severe to curtail pet’s life span or quality of life) or Replacement puppy ( at reduced or no addtional fee). These 3 options will be discussed and agreed upon by the purchaser as well as the seller. Under no circumstances will we give a full refund, in addition to another puppy. The following can and do occur in the bulldog breeds: Cherry Eye, interdigital cysts, Entropion, stenotic nares. Yet not so common in the bulldogge breeds. However due to the crosses and breeds being used in the creation of our Amitola Bulldogs and stages of development, occasionally these and other issues will occur. Most of the above stated issues can be seen before the puppy is ready to go to it's new home, and is dealt with in the veterinary health cert. This part of the contract relates to issues that may develop later after the pup is in its new home. We consider those issues with the exception of stenotic nares to be none life threatening. Should your pet require surgery to repair or fix of entropion or stenotic nares, we will pay for the actual procedure minus the anesthesia during the spay or neuter surgery. We will not pay for a seperate surgery as we feel the fewer times a puppy or dog under goes anesthetic procedures the better. For Cherry Eye we consider this more of a cosmetic defect and will not require a spay or neuter to repair it, however we will only pay up to $200.00 in total no matter if it is one or both eyes. There are some breed specific relevance and others are just injury etc, so we feel since it is something that could be a breed issue we will pay a portion of the repair. Unless other wise agreed by both parties. Interdigital cyst rarely require surgery , possible lancing maybe needed but keeping your dogs weight under control, and active shoulld be preventative. Should any of the above issues occur, before proceeding with any surgical procedure you must contact me first and send veterinary statement with pertinent info and the the bill for procedure. For our inspection so we may contact the treating vet, should we have questions or concerns. Once the surgery has been completed send us a copy of bill and we wil reimberse you per contract. This contract is the only agreement between the buyer and seller. There is no guarantee as to breeding, show ability or adult weight of this puppy or final height we give our best estimates based on our current breedings and previous puppies. We do not value one size over the other, but are trying to breed within a certain expected outcome. We wil do our best to send home the perfect puppy for you and your situation, including your size preferences. If pup is placed as a pet only, we do not require spay or neuter unless stated above, if you are not interested in breeding, we strongly recommend spaying or neutering this pup. All puppies are bred to abide by Amitola Bulldog standards and are OBBA registered ( may or may not be tranferrable). All puppies sold with registration are World Bulldogge Alliance, and this registration may be transferred to any other registry you desire. ie Ioeba, NBA, NKC, CKC etc. If you do show your puppy, we’d like to hear how he/she does!
